Q: Can I return my items if they don't fit?

A: We want you to love your gear, but as of 6/22/2022, all sales are final. So before you purchase, please confirm that your questions are answered. 

 

Q: What does "responsibly-sourced" mean? 


A: We take great care in researching the items we buy. Meaning, we do our VERY best to ensure that there was as little negative human and planet impact in the process of production. This often means that the process is slower, the gear won't be priced as low as other fast brands, and you might not get the "fashion-focused" cuts that you see from others. We won't compromise there. We also look to support humans of diverse backgrounds - intentionally sourcing BIPOC and Asian makers and brands. We also do a "gut check" on all brands that we carry to make sure that they align with our principles of supporting both people and planet. 

Q: What is your shipping information?


A: In most cases, you can expect delivery within 3-5 days within the US. $5 flat rate shipping on all orders, with free shipping on orders over $125. You have the option to chip in $10 for shipping at checkout.  Canadian orders are a $9 or $15, depending on the weight of the products.

If you need something more quickly, please reach out and confirm that's doable rather than emailing us afterward and asking to see if we can expedite. We do not make timeline guarantees that are not approved first, and have a very strong commitment to not buying into urgency, so while we want to help you with that, please just know we are humans and a small team!

Q: Why does something appear on sale but not when I added to cart?


A: Sometimes we manually price a flawed or certain variant of an item at a lower price. For example, if we have waaaay too many of a certain size or there's a color that's slightly different than the others. When this happens, a "sale" badge may appear when you are viewing the item, but when you select the specific variant you want, the correct price will show before AND when you add it to cart. If you were hoping to see the sale price that is not reflected for the variant you've chosen, make sure you're on our newsletter for the next sale. We don't offer price adjustments on things that you wanted at a lower price if they weren't actually on sale!


Q: Do you take custom orders?


A: We are occasionally able to take on custom orders that meet certain size or value requirements, but that said, always feel free to ask us or share your idea! Previous custom projects and ideas have included: family reunions, bachelorette parties, and kids designs with adult sizing (Duck Duck Loon and Go Fish). You can tell us your dreams here.  

Q: Do you offer a military, student, or teacher discount?

A: Yes! We do! Please be in touch at jumpin@lakeeffectco.com and I'll pass along a unique code for your use.

 

Q: I saw your designs printed on items not listed in your shop?

Please send those our way - we have registered trademarks for Chase More Sunsets, Lake Day, So Cold, and Long Live Lake Life and protect that previous intellectual property. That said, we do have a lovely network of stockists who carry the designs, so feel free to ask us about those if you want to find out where those are.
